Despite the fact the fair-weather only golfers decided to stay away, there were still enough members to start our weekly round in the light rain tonight.Unfortunately the light rain eventually turned into extremely heavy downpours and the hearty souls who gave it an honest effort were forced to call it quits. A few members did manage to finish their rounds despite the standing water and pelting rain.
As it turned out the round was canceled and no points were awarded for the night.
Winning the 50/50 prize was Dave Walker while Coady McGillvary (#7) and Peter Hughes (#16) won the closest to the pin awards.
