18 Holes - Week Two

Mother nature must have been on our side tonight as the rain stopped just before we teed off and started again shortly after we finished.

The Rolling Stones put together a solid night as they not only took 12 points from the Hackers but also posted the new Team Low Gross with an 88.

The rest of the standings remain relatively close with some teams making moves to improve their position. Most notable were the Whizbangers who leapfrogged two teams to move into fourth place and a potential spot in the "A" flight of the playoffs if they can hold or improve on that position.

It was a Father / Son sweep when it came to the closest to the pin prizes as Michael Walker took the honour on hole 1 and Dave Walker stuck it tight on hole 18. The 50/50 was won by Jim Conley and we also send our best wishes to Jim for a speedy recovery.

Just a reminder we have one more week of 18 holes of league play before our Team Scramble on July 1st.
