Reid Is Aces

It was a perfect evening for hitting the links and the scores showed it. Even your humble blog writer shot a 28 which means Tom must have funneled the greens to hole somehow.

The most impressive shot of the night came on hole #3 where Paul Reid's tee shot landed left of the flag and spun towards the hole and dropped into the cup for a hole-in-one.

Nobody in the group saw it fall in although they were curious about why the group ahead of them was celebrating.

In the evenings matches, four teams took all the points up for grabs as the Whizbangers, Southpaws, Dubbers and KGB all earned 12 points. The Rolling Stones and Wedgers came close by taking 10 points each while the Fat Shafts and Fivesome grabbed two points.

The Closest to the Pin winners were Kyle Wilkinson on hole #1 and Kim Defosse won another closest to the pin on hole #10. The 50/50 winner this week was Jim Turner who we all hope is well on the road to recovery and will be back on the course again soon.
